| Discovery of my hunting knife (Elil) and my ulu (unnamed) in the depths
of my backpack promted me to remove my infighting dagger (Thunder) from
the glove compartment of my car, where it has lived since the sheath
which stored it with its matched sword (Lightning) got stomped to death
by an angry horse some four years ago. All of my weapons (with
the exception of Lightning, which has seen some use since college took
over my time and I stoped seriously fighting) are in serious need of
matenence. I think I would have to switch to Japanese to find a
vocabulary in which to express my shame at not caring for my weapons
properly.
As soon as I get home, the first thing I will do is break out the
industrial-strength metal cleaner and do some serious scrubbing.
If I can find a decent leather supplier in LA (doubtful) I will make
another proper sheath for Lightning and Thunder. Also, Elil's
handle needs rewrapping, and everyone needs some serious time on the
stone.
It should be a weeks worth of work or so. :)

| I say YES to OHSU.
I also have an apartment for the summer. Wow!! Little me, all on my own!
Ok, for three months. But still.
|
| |
| Dartmouth says YES.
I say, Wow!!! Dartmouth!!! And then I say NO.
In more complicated news, OHSU has said YES.
I say, PROBABLY.

| |
| U of Mn says YES.
I say NO.
|
| |
| KGI and U of Rochester say NO.
Actually, I've decided I'm staying in Claremont unless OHSU accepts me,
because I'm tired and lazy and don't want to leave, but still.
I'd rather turn them down then have them turn me down. *pouts*
